Metal Park
Metal Park is the UAE’s largest industrial recycling complex, processing over a million tons annually across 18 km² and 2,400 contractor crews. Contractor access was running on paper gate passes with no induction enforcement.
The challenge
Contractor crews were waved through the gate on paper passes, with no reliable check that a valid permit-to-work or safety induction was in place. During an incident, there was no live count of who was on a hazardous site, and vehicle and manifest checks were entirely manual.
The approach
MyGatePass made permit-to-work the gate condition: no valid permit, no access. Crews are bulk pre-registered with induction status attached, vehicle gates verify plates and manifests, and a live zone-by-zone roster shows exactly who is on site at any moment.
